Investment Strategy
GF Capital has made control-oriented growth capital investments in middle market, branded consumer product and media companies. The investments have been in the form of control, recapitalization and growth capital with a target equity commitment of $15 million to $50 million per transaction with enterprise values between $20 million and $150 million.
Investment Criteria
- Experienced Management – GF Capital partners will partner with executives with the relevant experience in the industry. In most cases, the key management team members will have an equity stake in the investment.
- Competitive Position – GF Capital works with Companies that have a defensible position in their market niche, such as a strong brand name or franchise, high barriers to entry or strong contractual agreements.
- Opportunity for Growth – GF Capital works with companies in sectors that have the potential to grow significantly in value.
- GF Capital Added Value – GF Capital invests in companies in which the experience and contacts of GF Capital executives or their network of families or entrepreneurs have the potential to provide a competitive advantage.
